Science Fiction Collection
This issue of Hooded sees the Crowvus journal making a move into a themed anthology. We were a little nervous about setting this in motion as it takes our journal in a very different direction, but we were delighted with the uptake! So, here we offer you the work of twelve writers who rose to the challenge of creating captivating pieces for Hooded, all in the genre of Science Fiction.
Included writings are:
- Department of Innovations – Alex Minns
- Window – Joe Thomas
- An Astrobiologist’s Field Notes – Heather E. Graham
- The Forbidden City – Steve Wade
- Mining Memories – Vivienne Moles
- “The Green Isle of the Great Deep”: Neil Gunn’s Dystopian Novel and Its Relevance Today – Kevin Crowe
- Prime Knows Where Babies Come From – Ronald J Greig
- It Waved – Amy-Louie Palesa Ball
- FAO My Work Coach – Jan Stacey
- Podcast – Lorna D’Arcy
- Hostile Takeover – Frankie Regalia
- This Poem is Travelling through Time – Brooke Collins
Reading on, you will find prose, poetry, and commentary which will not only entertain but encourage thoughtful reflection as the pieces whisper a warning of what the future might hold in store as well as what the past should have taught us.
